Global Citizens Supporting Peng Shuai

We are Peng Shuai’s supporters from all over the world. It has been 26 days since Peng Shuai, the Chinese tennis star publicly alleged Zhang Gaoli, the former China’s Vice Premiere of sexual assault. To date, she is under control and prohibited from reaching the public or WTA directly.

The Chinese government released some photos and videos implying Peng Shuai is safe and that her sexual allegations are not true.

However, Peng Shuai is not free. She cannot speak freely, she cannot reach the public directly; her sexual allegations were not being respected and investigated by the responsible stakeholders; all information regarding Peng is under heavy censorship in China.

We demand the Chinese government:

1. **FREE Peng Shuai and LET HER SPEAK to the publicly directly and freely;
2. END ALL CENSORSHIP regarding her allegations;
3. Fully investigate her allegations with TRANSPARENCY.

To Peng Shuai’s supporters: Please join us in demanding Peng Shuai’s true freedom. Your signature means more protection for Peng. This letter and all signatures will be sent to China’s State Council and the Chinese Tennis Association by December 5, 2021.
